Sweet and Savory
This recipe can be described as sweet and savory with an addictive crunch! Nori Furikake is a seasoning mainly comprised of seaweed, sesame seeds and sugar. Adding Furikake is key because that is what makes this snack mix Asian. We used Nori Furikake in this recipe, if you cannot find it you can purchase it online here.
Easy, Versatile Crowd Pleaser
There are only 2 steps: mixing, and baking. It can’t get anymore easier than that. Furikake Asian Snack Mix is very versatile. We added almonds and cashews in this recipe to round out the carbs and it is delicious! Perfect for any situation like, office potlucks, parties, game day, camping, and even makes a great gift.

Prep
Pre-heat the oven to 250 degrees F
Combine Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, Honeycomb cereal, Fritos, Bugles, pretzels, almonds and cashews in the large aluminum pan.*DO NOT add Nori Furikake.
Glaze
In a pan on medium heat. melt butter, then add Karo Syrup, soy sauce, vegetable oil, sugar. Mix well.
Pour the glaze over snack mix and mix until everything is evenly coated.
Add the whole bottle of Nori Furikake and mix well.
Bake
Bake for 1 hour at 250°. Mix occasionally to cook evenly.
Let it cool and Enjoy!

- Giant Aluminum Pasta Pan approx. 19" X 11" X 3"inches (49.7cm X 29.5cm 8.1cm)

- 2 Tbs soy sauce
Snack Mix
- ½ box Corn Chex
- ½ box Wheat Chex
- ½ box Honeycomb cereal
- ½ bag Fritos
- ½ bag Bugles
- ½ bag Pretzels
- 1½ cup almonds
- 1½ cup cashews
- 1 bottle Nori Furikake We use 1½ bottles of Nori Furikake because we love the flavor.
