Homeschool Lunch Idea Sausage Ppang 소세지빵
Sausage Ppang, aka Hotdog Bread, is a popular savory Korean snack. With a couple of hacks, sausage ppang is a perfect Homeschool lunch idea that caters the palates of kids and also gets them cooking in the kitchen.

- 8 Beef hot dogs
- 1 can Biscuits Refrigerated canned biscuits. We used Grands flaky Layers Hawaiian biscuits. But any variety will do.
- 2 cups Shredded cheese of your choice Choose your favorite or use what you have.
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Water
Canned Biscuits- Separate and use a rolling pin to spread each biscuit
Hotdogs- Pat dry and wrap in biscuit dough
Use kitchen scissors and cut diagonally 3/4 of the way though
Separate the pieces alternating sides to make a leaf pattern
Sprinkle Cheese on top towards the middle
Place on a non-stick baking sheet and bake according to biscuit instructions.
Remove from oven and mix 1 egg and 1/4 cup of water and brush the bread only. Place in oven on broil to brown the edges. Keep an eye on it because it can burn quickly.
Cool and enjoy. Let the kids create a zigzag ketchup design and eat!
